Trader Joe's Just Recalled Its 6th Product In 5 Weeks

Customers at Trader Joe’s are starting to feel uneasy about the situation as the list of items that are being recalled by the retailer continues to grow. The Texas Tamale Company’s Gourmet Black Bean Tamales and Multigrain Crackers with Sunflower and Flax Seeds are the most recent additions to the list of Trader Joe’s items that have been recalled. Both of these products are made by the Texas Tamale Company.

Two separate recall warnings have been issued by Trader Joe’s, with the first indicating that the tamales “may contain undeclared milk” and the second indicating that the multigrain crackers “may contain metal.” There is a recall being issued for each of these goods. Customers are being asked by Trader Joe’s to desist from ingesting either of the goods and to either get rid of them or bring them back to the shop in order to receive a complete refund.

According to Trader Joe’s, “no illnesses have been reported to date, and all potentially affected product has been removed from sale.” This means that the crackers have not been contaminated with any harmful bacteria. A further statement made by the firm was that “no illnesses have been reported to date” in relation to the tamales.

The states of Texas, Alabama, Arkansas, Colorado, Kansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Tennessee were only some of the states that were included in the notification regarding the recall of tamales. Other states that had purchased the products included Tennessee.

As a result of the recall of the tamales, which is the sixth recall that has taken place in a space of only five weeks, customers have started to express their worries over the retail location.

One person said on Twitter, “I was going to go to Trader Joe’s today, but then I heard about all the recalls,” while they were ready to go to the store.

A separate person on X (which was once known as Twitter) claims that quality control is an issue that they have been aware of for a lengthy amount of time. This information comes from the user who made the statement.

Recent incidents at Trader Joe’s that reached the level of broad recalls have brought this to the attention of the mainstream media, which is just now beginning to become aware of the situation. In contrast, I have been aware of this issue ever since before the outbreak of the pandemic… According to what they said, “Trader Joe’s has never been particularly good at maintaining quality control; it is just obviously worse now.” This is something that has never been the case in the past.

Over the course of the past few weeks, Trader Joe’s has issued a recall for a number of its products. These products include Fully Cooked Falafel, Almond Windmill Cookies and Dark Chocolate Chunk, Almond Cookies, and Unexpected Broccoli Cheddar Soup. On top of the tamales and multigrain crackers that have already been recalled, these additional products have also been recalled.

Both the falafel and the broccoli cheddar soup were taken off the market due to the possibility that they included insects. The falafel was recalled because it was suspected of carrying stones, while the soup was pulled from the market because it was suspected of containing insects. That may be described as “unexpected”!
