- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives, green onions, or shallots
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- Lemon wedges, for serving (optional)
Steps
1. The Tuna Should be Drained:
The liquid should be drained out of the tuna cans. If you are using tuna that has been packed in water, you should set aside one tablespoon of the tuna water and then proceed to the following step, which is to add one teaspoon of olive oil to the tuna combination.
2. Get the Tuna Mixture Ready by:
To make the tuna salad, put the following ingredients in a medium bowl: mustard, torn white bread, lemon zest, lemon juice, water, parsley, chives, and spicy sauce. A pinch of salt and freshly ground black pepper should be sprinkled on top. Taste the mixture before adding the egg to determine whether or not it need more seasoning to suit your preferences. Incorporate the egg into the mixture.
3. In Order to Cool, form into Patties:
