September 22nd, the official start of fall, is rapidly approaching, and with it, the prospect of crisp weather, crunchy leaves, and an overabundance of pumpkin spice. Panera Bread is preparing to welcome the arrival of the warm season with new menu items, including three hearty soups and more options for kids.
All across the nation, Panera stores have been offering the three soups with a fall-themed motif and the updated kids menu since today, September 18. Fall Squash Soup, a seasonal favorite that is only available for a short time every year starting in the fall, is one of the new arrivals. Once again, you can get your hands on this 330-calorie soup. Vegetable broth, honey, apple juice, cinnamon, a touch of curry, sweet cream, roasted pumpkin seeds with a salty topping, butternut squash, pumpkin, and vegetable broth make up this dish.
The other two soups that were recently added to the menu are completely novel. Panera appears to be introducing a new dish called Hearty Fireside Chili, which could have 400 calories, to replace the Turkey Chili that was canceled in April of this year. Cooked in a broth spiced with cilantro and a particular blend of chilies, it’s brimming with beef, kidney beans, roasted tomatoes, and green chili peppers.
Not to mention that Rustic Baked Potato Soup is the newest addition to Panera’s menu. Bacon, chives, spice, and home-style potato slices boil in a Monterey Jack cheese sauce to make this soup. At last, asiago cheese is sprinkled on top. It seems like this is the first time customers have been able to buy potato soup from the company since they stopped selling an earlier version of the food in 2019.
Creamy Tomato Soup (370 calories) and Broccoli Cheddar Soup (360 calories) are just two of Panera’s popular soups; however, the chain is aiming to fully embrace fall by bringing back and introducing three additional soups.
Statements from Panera Bread’s chief marketing officer Mark Shambura read: “when it’s soup season, it’s peak Panera season,” and “we’re excited to celebrate by adding even more flavor and variety into our iconic lineup of soups.” Among these are some hearty new offerings and some seasonal favorites that we know our customers will love.
In the meantime, some sandwiches on the revamped kids’ menu now come with two servings, “bringing more value for families and delicious options thoughtfully crafted for its youngest fans.” You won’t find this on the menu before. Kids at Panera can now choose from a variety of options, including a whole-sized Kids Grilled Cheese (890 calories), a new Kids Ham & Cheese Sandwich (680 calories), a Kids Mac & Cheese (480 calories), and a Kids Broccoli Cheddar Soup (240 calories).
They have access to all of these choices. Kids can get a meal for a suggested price of $0.89 at participating locations, and they can choose between chips, fruit, or a French baguette as a side dish. They can also buy a drink.
For a fixed monthly price of $14.99, Panera is offering a tempting deal on its Unlimited Sip Club, a membership that lets customers get a drink every two hours. As a last delight, we are making this promotional offer available to customers. Get three months of the Unlimited Sip Club for free when you sign up for an account before October 31st.
Among Panera Bread’s many exciting new additions this year are their fall soups and their expanded children’s menu. The bakery-caf? chain had a major menu overhaul in April, introducing nine new items and improving the recipes of twelve others. The Bravo Club Sandwich (880 calories) and Strawberry Poppyseed Chicken Salad (370 calories) are two of the new items.
Panera has expanded its fresh food offerings significantly since then, adding items like breakfast sandwiches, avocado toast, and baked goods to the mix.
